RAMADA HOTEL IN PANYANG

Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China, is also one of the main tributaries in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and an important lake with over-water, throughput and seasonality in the Yangtze River Basin. It plays a great role in regulating the water level of the Yangtze River, conserving water sources, improving the local climate and maintaining the ecological balance of the surrounding areas.

This huge installation art installed in the lobby of Ramada Hotel in Jiangxi Province combines the water in Poyang Lake as the design element, and the huge annular crystal shape is ups and downs, symbolizing flowing water. MATTEO team completed the installation art of large-scale lighting design in September 2022. The large-scale customized chandelier has a circumference of 40 meters, an overall length of 14.8 meters, a width of 7.2 meters and a height of 2.2 meters. The large crystal ribbon chandelier consists of 875 U-shaped crystal accessories, each K9 crystal accessory has a size of 180*180*60MM, which is made by specially designed machine pressing model and high temperature pressing. In the early stage of production, after many sample tests in the factory, the maximum size of the sample reached 6 meters long, from which the arrangement of crystal texture and lighting program effect were determined. Custom programming lighting chandelier uses RGB light band inside, and 95% of the area is 4000K white light. Combined with the program, a small amount of blue light (about 5% of the area) runs slowly, symbolizing the endless flowing water source. The shape of Mobius ring made of crystal is endless and represents eternity.

Four LED strips are used inside the lamp as luminous light sources, which are combined with acrylic sheets with specific textures to play the role of astigmatism, and the overall light looks very uniform.
